How To Build A Successful Business

How to build a successful business & become an internet millionaire while spending no money on advertising. When I was in real estate, I used to spend approximately $50,000 per month on television advertising to generate leads for my real estate salespeople and mortgage brokers. I have an extensive background in advertising and marketing. If you’re going to be a successful entrepreneur, then you must become an expert at marketing your product or service. You could have the best product or service in the world, but if you don’t know how to market or communicate to people why they should buy your amazing product or service, you will fail. Most companies guard their business secrets very closely. The whole purpose of my existence on this planet is to help other people grow and reach their full potential. By focusing on being at my best personally and applying what I teach, it enables me to lead by example so other people can model my success so they can get the same results in their own life as I have gotten in mine. I love helping people and I especially love to read and hear about the success other people have gotten because they applied what I teach! The following is an e-mail from a reader who would like to become an entrepreneur and start his own business. He wants to know how he should go about marketing his services to attract clients. My comments are (in bold brackets like this) in the body of his e-mail:

Hello Corey,

My question has to do with business. I want to start my own! (The MOST IMPORTANT thing to understand about a business before you start one, is you must build your business around one central idea: Find a way to add value to people’s lives. “Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service.” ~ Henry Ford.) Before I tell you what it is, allow me to give you a little background on the idea itself. I recently sent you an email under my other email account (***************) detailing some of my painful life experiences including a question about being “lovey dovey” with a girlfriend. Rather than repeat all of that here, I want to tell you a little about my healing process. When I was 18, I’m 25 now, I was introduced to the martial arts, Kung Fu to be exact. At age 20 I was introduced to Boxing, & a year later the art of Jujitsu. I still train all 3 of these arts to this day. I also have another passion: Fitness! I’ve been a private personal trainer for 4 years and have helped friends, family, and even my own girlfriend find the right path to their fitness goals. I myself at 6″0 tall went from a skinny 160lbs. to a lean 210lbs. in just 2 years! Naturally, all of the muscle gain made me feel more confident as a man, but martial arts was different; it gave me a solid sense of self worth I had been struggling with for years. Now I have the courage to chase my dreams like a man should. I’m pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy and also plan to pursue a degree in exercise science thereafter. Now for my question: I was reading an African proverb that stated “Keeping knowledge to one’s self is like trying to illuminate a candle’s light in a pot.” I took this to mean that people who hide their secrets benefit no one but themselves. As I began thinking about this meaning, I came to the conclusion that if I could teach people who may be struggling with self esteem and self worth issues fitness and martial arts, they can conquer self limiting beliefs as I have. How do I go about marketing myself to get a clientele base going? (Get a great wordpress website like mine & start writing articles offering your free advice and knowledge. Ask people to email questions they have to you which you can then answer and turn into new articles. The internet and YouTube are designed to give you an unlimited amount of free internet traffic and advertising as a reward for creating useful articles and videos that offer valuable information that helps people. If you have the right website architecture, every time you publish an article it will be automatically indexed by Google and they will send you traffic. YouTube works the same way. You should also write an eBook you can sell also. Copy what I have done with my website. I have personally invested over $500k of my own money over the years experimenting, testing & refining my business model. I spend no money on advertising. My website grows via 100% referral traffic and free traffic from Google, YouTube, Yahoo, Facebook, MSN, etc. The key is you must produce great content that helps people and that they want to read or watch. People find out about my website and often read it for a few months. Once they apply what I teach they start to see that I am the real deal and that what I teach works, they make donations, buy books, sign up for phone coaching sessions, etc. The really great part is, once you create an article or video, it’s going to bring you free traffic and money for years if you set your website up to monetize the traffic properly. If you would like me to consult with you to help you come up with a viable plan and business model for your business, you should sign up for a phone coaching session with me and I will teach you all of my secrets. Why would I give them away to you when most companies guard their business secrets like Coca-Cola guards it’s secret recipe? I am a coach. I am a leader. The true measure of a leader is not how many followers they have, but how many leaders they create. Hi Coach Corey,
You’re right about people watching you to check if you’re legit. I was doing the same thing for two weeks. I come from a conservative Caribbean family and that’s an oxymoron, and I was a good girl. I thought that if I played hard to get men would want to marry me. Trying to make this short. I’m getting a divorce & before your videos I was scared that men did not approach enough when I was younger and now it would be worse. Fast forward to today, I made a bold move only because of your videos. I saw this guy and I made eye contact. I double checked my reflection and I glanced back to check him out again. I slowed down cause we were entering McDonalds and he sped up and opened the door for me. I looked at him and I smiled and said thank you. He looked like you! Tanned, buzz cut, amazing blue eyes and a neck tattoo. The interaction was so natural and beautiful, like poetry. This never happened to me before.
